Thinking it'd be a bit restrictive to only have project-focused chat, but it would be nice to simplify our billing and only have one app for project management and Slack, so wondering if other teams have pulled off replacing Slack with Basecamp.

Would love to use Basecamp, but $99/month for unlimited projects and users is rather expensive for our small team (it works out better for larger teams with more users—which hopefully will be us someday!). Is there a Basecamp for Startups plan, or perhaps a free or smaller plan for less?
