Does anyone have this annoying problem to your productivity while using Roam?

I use the web version with chrome. I am going through my notes using search bar to gather material for my paper. I use the shift+click to open the note on the side bar. However, after each click the search bar closes...😂 I will need to repeat the process again: go to search bar, type in the search, scroll down and click. If I want to gather 50 notes, I will need to repeat this process 50 times! 😵‍💫
Is there a way to keep shift+clicking the search output without the search bar closing? Or a way around this?
