How to send cold emails without burning your domain?

Does anyone have a good resource that explains best practices to do this? Our team isn't planning to spam the universe, we just want to make a stronger effort to send outbound emails without risking our deliverability. I've been told the best way to do this is to set up a separate domain and run outbound sales emails from that domain - is that still best practice or is there another way?

I recently stumbled upon this Twitter account that I find really helpful and explanatory: I hope you'll find what you need 😉

There are some pretty good ideas in there—thanks for sharing! The example of the personalized shirt company was especially interesting since they also used their learnings for content marketing afterwards.

Do you have any personal tips for cold emails that have worked for you?
