Question

What are the best tools for technology partnerships?

At Aircall we work with 60 technology partners, half of those integrations are built by us, the other half built by third parties building on our API. What are the tools that you're using to enable your technology partnerships?

At Aircall we look at technology to enable developers to build on our APIs, launch their product on our marketplace, gather insights about prospected and existing partnerships, enable our partners to learn about our product and refer business easily, and more. We use:

  • Front for our API and developer support.
  • Salesforce as our central source of truth for all business data.
  • Monday for project management.
  • Chili Piper to route partner referrals to our Sales team.
  • PartnerStack as our Partner Relationship Manager (mostly for channel partners, but some technology partners also use it for referrals, tracked trials, etc).
  • Squarespace for micro-sites: we build micro-sites for the enablement of the teams of our top partners.
  • Bit.ly to share links on our custom domain. We try and avoid sharing the direct asset and get it to a bit.ly link to be able to update it without breaking the link as well as for tracking purposes.
  • Loom because one video is better than a lengthy email for many different things!
  • Looking into Crossbeam for account mapping and data sharing with partners.

And I'm sure there's more!

I'm biased since we're backers (FirstMark), but the team at Crossbeam is world-class. Bob (Founder/CEO) previously founded & sold two companies (RJMetrics & Stitch) and experienced data sharing & mapping issues again and again so he decided to go fix it. Sure you already have contacts there but if you need more executive level connections, shoot me a note at jack (at) firstmarkcap (dot) com and I'm happy to connect.
