Question

What did you think when Twitter and Facebook started adding native scheduling?

Did that change your plans for MeetEdgar, or force you to change your marketing?

Actually this was not A Thing. The functionality has always sucked and we rarely hear about people using them. Occasionally for FB pages, but I have literally never heard of anyone using native scheduling on twitter!

Some changes the social networks have made have messed with us, but this was not one of them.

Scheduling a single post for a specific date and time is such a tiny part of what we do.

Twitter banning repeat content was kind of a disaster for us, and we lost a chunk of our customer base who only used us for that purpose. The upside was it forced us to innovate - our suggested variations were a direct result of that change https://variations.meetedgar.com/

Ahh that makes sense. Fascinating—I think the suggested variations are one of MeetEdgar’s most compelling features today!
