It's very effective to use it as a lookup table. For example, I'll use it to list both MemberStack.io and Webflow.com unique id's in one row. At times, when using tools like Zapier, I only know one of the id's but I need to look up the other. From Zapier I can query my Airtable rows and "lookup" the other unique id.
UI of Calendar view is exceptional.
It's essentially a database with a really beautiful front-end—makes building new things (and using the Airtable API as a database) super easy.
The API access -> using it as a db backend
Airtable is super forgiving when working with data (for the most part) compared with other database systems I've used. I'm so impressed by the complexity it supports while still being intuitive and super fast.
It's really flexible and can be used for so many different things (project management, issue tracking, workflows, etc...)
Super flexible. I really believe in the MVA - minimum viable airtable - idea of scaffolding a new app. Additonally, I find there are very few things I can't do with it.
Its flexability and platform nature
Airtable is the most versatile database tool I have come across. I use the Airtable block a lot. My current favorite block is the Clearbit block which I am using it for personal CRM.
UI/UX, and filters
Easy and simple to use!
Powerful templates for many use cases
I love how user friendly Airtable is, its really easy to get started!
Its flexibility to build anything you want
Depth of integrations
This might not be the most exciting feature, but the ability to quickly structure and build out a relational database is a killer feature for me. I use it to organize my thinking in addition to building apps and tools.
Excellent at handling structured data
Filters, views, and types.
Super slick and efficient interface.
Ease of use with Zapier
