Whether it's invite only or just something most people haven't heard of yet, what's the most exciting new software you're using right now, and what makes it great?
Disclosure - I work on the Attio team. It's a new breed of CRM that expands beyond simply managing your customers. We like to think of it as a relationship workspace. Just connect your email and Attio populates with all of the people and companies you've ever spoken to along with your communication history. We'll then enrich all of your relationships with insights from across the web, and give you a tonne of tools to organise them like kanban boards and tables. When you start to use it as a team it quickly becomes your go to place for relationship management. We're in closed alpha at the moment so reach out if you'd like to give it a try!
Totally! We've had loads of interest from other VCs looking for a way to keep all of their deal flow and relationships in one place. We're going to be onboarding a new wave of users in the next few weeks so keep an eye on your inbox!
So interesting -- the Andreessen Horowitz team has something like this they developed internally (which allows them to supercharge their corp dev division for portfolio co's...)
Well if a16z has it then it must be worth signing up for early access ;)
Been using Command E for two weeks. Within the year, I think it'll replace Alfred for cloud search.
"The faster way to navigate your workspace. An easy keyboard shortcut to open any document, contact, file or record from the cloud."
Ohh yeah I've been looking forward to getting access. Does it search your local computer's software and documents too, or is it cloud search only? Though honestly, even if it only searched cloud apps, that'd be hugely helpful.
yup it does search local apps /software but files not. Would also recommend to try Clew.ai
From the same team that created OrgchartHub, GeoMapper is a Hubspot native app which allows you to visualize and segment any of your contacts, companies, and/or deals right within Hubspot.
Before this tool was released, the only other platform that came even close to offering this service straight within the CRM was Mapmycustomers, and they required you to be an enterprise level customer (10+ users) to access their API/CRM integration.
If you're a Hubspot user - this add-on is awesome!
Been using Yac for async voice messages with my team. Easier than endless Slack messages.
Does it keep a record of your conversations, to go back and see what you'd said previously? Seems like it'd be easy to lose context of what was being talked about, especially with a time gap.
Superpower for PM's and execs with distributed operations.
* realtime video+audio recording of multiple sources (screen+camera+audio inputs) - can be reconfigured in almost every combination other than the mobile one. Everyone is a creator with nothing to install or learn.
* instant availability and shareability, including password protection
asynchronous high throughput communciation/collaboration - the async piece is absolutely crucial. destroys timezones.
haha loom is awesome but is it invite only or software that's so new no one has heard of it yet?
It's open for anyone to use https://www.loom.com/
My brother's startup TeamHub, is definitely one of coolest projects out there. 800+ companies using their beta product.
Teamhub allows real-time code editing inside any IDE. It turns your IDE into a collaborative space where you can work together in real-time.
Check it out:

Interesting! How does it handle collision? Does it include any commenting or chat to discuss changes while working (like the chat inside Google Docs)?
Exactly! But it's a live chat.
You can open a live view of a teammate's file or follow them to keep along with the active tab and cursor position
You can only" edit" the file if the teammate gives you access and then the chat helps!
Ah, very cool, that's a neat way of implementing it.

This looks awesome! Just requested access. We're looking to find the perfect CRM for our small team. We're an early-stage VC firm with tons of dealflow emails... seems like this would be helpful for us. Thanks for sharing!
