There are so many different Salesforce plans—which did you choose at first?
If your team has 10 or fewer people who need to use Salesforce, their Essentials plan is the best to start. It costs $25/month per user with an annual plan, which is a third or less of most Salesforce plans, but still includes the core features.
You can save more on it if you have a Product Hunt Founder Club or FoundersCard subscription, as they both take 50% off your first year of Salesforce Essentials—though either plan only would be worth paying for if you're using other discounts, too, or if you have more than 5 users on Salesforce.
