Now that Unsplash was recently acquired by Getty, I've been looking around at other stock photo options—and was pleasantly surprised to find that Noun Project has photos, too, now.
Do you have any stock photo sites you love and use in your design work?
Oh, that's a nice resource! I don't see so many good icon repositories.
For photos, I discovered Pixabay while building my digital garden recently:
https://pixabay.com/
There's also the surprisingly little-known Flickr Creative Commons search:
https://www.flickr.com/creativecommons/
Although most images there do require some kind of attribution.
The hell you say. I just published over 1200 pictures and videos of caterpillars and butterflies with wildly varying levels of quality there! Oh, wait, I see what you mean. 😄
Another free resource is Pexels (https://www.pexels.com/), which is now owned by Canva (as is Pixabay I think).
Oh wow, I used Pexels years before Unsplash was around. Glad to see they're still doing well!
If you're looking for illustrations, check out https://undraw.co/ - it has a great feature that allows you to set a primary color and automatically adjusts all its illustrations accordingly.
Oh that is nice, thanks for sharing!
I have an ongoing list of sites with free images for commercial use. I'm always looking to update the list, so if anyone has new sites, please let me know.

Ohhh very cool, published with Obsidian!

I've been using Confluence since 2013, and in my opinion, it's the best document collaboration tool. Lately, I've seen that Notion is getting trendy. Any Notion heavy user around?

Yeah, Noun Project is great for icons.
Flickr's Creative Commons search must be one of the original free photo sources online. Tends to be a tad dated and lower quality nowadays, but still a good place to check for sure!
