Zoom is turning into a store, with Zapps and paid video events

Zoom's a great way to meet with your team—but their team is dreaming up more ways to use the video call service. This week Zoom launched OnZoom with virtual events that you can pay for and join via Zoom, somewhat reminiscent of a virtual version of AirBNB's companion guided tours to its room sharing. Then, Zoom additionally added Zapps app integrations, where the partner apps including Asana, Dropbox, Slack, HubSpot, Superhuman, Coda, and more can open inside a Zoom call so you can collaborate without switching windows.

Together, they're an interesting take on making Zoom central to your personal and work life.
