Yeah, Apple Notes is my primary place to take notes. If I weren't using Apple's stuff though, I'd likely just use Google's suite of alternatives, although their icons are awful (for now) haha.

Yeah, if I were not completely invested in the Apple ecosystem, it would be a subpar experience. I definitely don't blame you for trying to go all in on Apple though.

I'm a simple man, I use the native macOS and iOS versions of Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Notes, etc. I find them to be straight-forward enough to utilize for virtually everything in my personal life and…

No problem! The reports are pretty digestible too especially for those that may not like looking at Excel sheets haha.

Keychain is probably one of my favorite parts of the Apple ecosystem and I think it’s pretty underrated. Having passwords synced between my phone and laptop is great and I’ve encountered very few…

I know it’s not a great answer, but I’ve mainly just relied on Font Book on macOS. 🥴

I did try FontBase and a few others, but always felt like I was missing something relative to the price paid…

For several years I’ve been basically leveraging everything the Apple ecosystem has to offer since there is great continuity between devices.

For a “home stack”, here’s what I typically use:

I think the biggest factor is how often you’ll deal with outside documents coming in that will be in an Office format.

For example, if your company gets countless .docx files that will lose styling…

I’ve been using it for several months since the start of this year.

Overall, I find it super useful for a few reasons. Firstly, the price for using their panel is much cheaper than other platforms…

You're probably better off using something like Sketch or Figma + Notion and creating a space within Notion to group it all together since it has all the features you're looking for.

I'm in the Apple ecosystem, so I pretty much just rely upon Safari.

For stuff I want to utilize multiple times, like a color generator, I created a few main category folders and then a ton of…

I'm definitely interested, but as @itsjackcohen said, I'm very concerned about how this application exports into other formats since that almost always ends up an issue at some point.

Someone made a…

I tend to work remotely and here are some things I've picked up over time:

  • Do daily, asynchronous standups so everyone is kept on the same page about tasks
  • Keep tasks somewhere everyone can see them…

I'm super integrated into the Apple ecosystem, so Safari is pretty much my go-to.

However, I really like the features Firefox and Chrome bring in their own ways, from plugin support to other stuff.

Thus far for the past ~5 months it has been fantastic. I had a couple of bugs around Christmas time, but they don't seem to exist at all now.

Slack
Geekbot
Notion
GitHub
Sketch Cloud

These are enough to communicate effectively with team members and get things done.

I'm a pretty big fan of GeekBot (https://geekbot.com) for daily standup that way our whole team knows what everyone is working on, whether they're remote or in-office.

All answers go into a specific…

For design handoff it really varies.

If I’m trying to work with another designer, I will upload the file to Sketch Cloud and have them download from there. Once they make edits and save, their…
