I deal with a lot of CSVs. I export them from analytics software, from email/CRMs, etc. I almost never want them in Excel, I want them in Google Sheets or even just to copy/paste the values out of it.

So I spent some time with Front which seemed SO promising, but I'm kind of shocked that their Sequences only works if you have a .csv upload. Very strange!

That's a phenomenally thorough answer, and the Zapier logic is a smart way of doing it - I was originally looking to use the Zapier's "reply to email" gmail extension, but storage is a really smart…

I've got a funny use-case for a client I'm volunteering on.

They're dealing with some legacy folks who work in Excel. Every week they send out an email to a series of people with an Excel sheet…

Three cheers for Overcast. The only two features I wish it had: mark specific episodes as “favorites” and give me a history of listened-to podcasts. Everything else about it is the GOAT.

9 times out of 10 I'm using Bear or TextEdit on my desktop, but I've started checking out Sunsama after seeing a tweet from @merci.

It's still evolving, but it does feel nice to have a rolling board…

Hit send too soon! The behavioral analysis is top-notch.

Meanwhile Metabase doesn't have my favorite SQL editor of all time, but the drag-and-drop functionality for your database is excellent, it has…

Amplitude and Metabase continue to be the tools I'd take to any new project I work on.
Amplitude's free tier has a ton of value and the behavioral analysis

Our stack is pretty well built-out at this point—

Segment tracks everything that happens on our site and sends it to a data warehouse. We poke into that data using Metabase and now Periscope/Sisense…

Are you doing "blast" or "one to one"? I spent a long time working on SMS on the political/non-profit side, and was always impressed with the products Hustle had to offer.

Doesn’t matter if it’s a slack alert for a new customer or a complex welcome flow that kicks off on multiple platforms. What did you automate and why does it make you happy?

Mural.co, for when our team is doing collaborative brainstorming. It's not quite a whiteboard, but excellent for mapping out ideas via e-stickynote, etc.

I really like https://www.wappalyzer.com/ for a quick, easy look-up of what a given site appears to be using. It's far from perfect, but gives me quick insight at least into the customer-facing…
