Notion is an all-in-one collaborative workspace for notes, projects, tasks, databases, and more.
One way to think of Notion is that it's a mega flexible alternative to Google Docs. In the same workspace where you write notes, you can also add Airtable-style databases, Trello-style kanban boards, calendars, checklists, documents, and more. You can also embed files from InVision, Figma, Google Docs, GitHub, and dozens of other sites.
Everything in team Notion accounts is automatically shared, and anyone on the team can edit others notes, with version history to look back through the changes. That makes Notion great for collaboration, though it can make it hard to tell when content has been changed from the original without checking the changelog.
Notion's biggest fans love that it's a single hub that replaces a handful of other collaboration tools. People also seem to love Notion's flexible notes where you can drag and drop sections around the page, along with its design and real-time collaboration. Notion also rolled out its API in beta.

Tables & Boards: Notion includes hybrid database/spreadsheets to list data inside notes, run simple calculations, and link related info. Tables can be filtered, and can also be viewed in various formats: Table, Board (aka kanban), List, Calendar, Gallery.
Embed anything: Notion lets you embed other notes and content from dozens of apps to bring everything you’re working on into your notes. Supported embeds range from social apps like Facebook and Twitter to design apps like Figma and InVision, to files like video and PDF.
Share and collaborate: Notion team accounts share all of your team notes so anyone can see what you’ve written and add updates. You can’t lock documents or suggest changes, but you can see history of what’s been changed. In addition to seeing real-time edits to a document, you can also see teammate's avatars to see where they are focused.
Publish notes: You can publish any note online for a simple landing page, or export the HTML or Markdown from a note to paste into your blog or CMS.
Organize your notes: Notion organizes notes in notebooks and sub-pages to nest your ideas. You can favorite notes to highlight on your sidebar for easy access. Or jump to any page via search.

Notion does not include any full integrations to copy content from Notion to other software.
Instead, Notion has embeds where you can include data from other apps inside Notion Notes. Those include embeds from: Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets, Twitter, GitHub Gists, Google Maps, Figma, Abstract, InVision, Framer, Whimsical, Miro, Loom, Typeform, CodePen, and link embeds for media, videos, and other content.
