What would make Figma a better design tool for your team?
Two @figmadesign features I'd love to see:
đź–ŤSharpie mode for quick markups while reviewing or critiquing with someone (pencil mode is awful).
đź”— Clickable hyperlinks that launch in browser.
The ability to export each element with its associated comments stream in a PDF report. This would be a HUGE benefit to sharing the prototype with people who can't access the Figma doc directly.
@SteveMathew what is the use-case where people can't access the doc directly? I've found that since Figma has such fantastic browser support, sending share links to people has never been a problem, (although I'm not sure if i've tried mobile).
We've had a case recently, where one of our clients (a large financial services company), did now along access to the Figma.com domain (for some security reason) and secondly, when they bypassed the network by using a 4G connection on an iPad, the comments feature was such a pain for them to extract and provide a comprehensive reprt back to other execs and stakeholders. A simple PDF report would have been so simple (for them).
@figmadesign Would you be able to enable the comment feature for users who're not logged in? Using it for client feedback is sadly impossible otherwise, big clients won't register just to comment, now I still have to export as JPG, then convert to PDF so they can use that. Thanks
@figmadesign Hi, love the new prototyping feature! This would almost be a KEYNOTE replacement for me.. but would need a presenter's screen (eg, to see next slide). Any chance this feature request would see light of day, or is it more probable to come via a plugin?
How do people share specific screens/sections on @figmadesign ? I feel like there needs to be a tag/pin/table of content feature where people can find stuff in a page with 1000 screens
Upload PDF
This future feature will be a game changer: Just upload your PDF (corporate presentation or former designer files when you dont have WIP open figma files) and the figma lets you play with the elements! from text to visuals.
Type "PDF" on Figma plugin directory... you're see none.
I need this feature +5 times per week. drag and drop and figma the content. This is my figma dreams. Today, its a nightmare I tried to get out from: Converting PDF to SVG file and them import it to Figma... didnt worked. I hope now that Figma raised more investment - They would kindly dev this feature.
That would be incredible. PDFs are still generally so hard to edit, even in Acrobat. There's got to be space in the market for a modern take on a PDF editor.

That’s a really good idea—I’d love to have a way to see all comments in one place, and a PDF would give you an easy way to present it.
