What was the main feature that got you to switch?
My team had been using Google Hangouts before switching to Zoom. Two big reasons we were looking for a better video call app were that Hangouts didn't give an easy way to record calls without adding them to YouTube, and that it tended to kill battery life on laptops. Zoom was better on both accounts. Its calls seemed to be less intensive on laptops, and didn't hit battery life as bad. And, it includes simple call recording that saves a video fall to your computer, which was perfect for our needs.
Especially for personal to-dos and tasks that you need to accomplish outside of your team, what is your favorite app and tricks for getting the most out of it?
Last week, Slack announced some new features, including a WYSIWYG rich text editor.
Along with the addition of this feature, they changed the Markdown functionality to render formatting in-line.
