I'm currently doing loose time-batching (like, do content creation for an hour, or 45 mins of email replies). The nature of my job won't let me do total daybatching but I'm thinking I could modify it…

Sorry about that, I was playing with the "share a link" option, but prob should have just posted a regular post with the link inside it. Thanks! I may give daybatching a whirl too.

We use Basecamp for shared work tasks, but it doesn't really fit well into my personal flow. So I am currently using daily notes in Noteplan 3 to peel out my own work tasks, as well as personal tasks…

Agree, it would be useful to have a universally accepted template of some kind.

Speaking as a SaaS vendor, that strategy would probably only work with a company that has its own internal legal team (maybe). Essentially you're passing the cost of the legal review from your side to…

I do go back periodically, although I've started peeling out things that I know I want for future posterity into their own folder for that purpose.

I've tried them ALL. To do lists are my jam, and I'm the person who adds something to the list after I've already done it, just so I can mark it done. I'm currently using NotePlan to combine notes and…

Oh that resonates for me. I've been using different folders in NotePlan to keep my work brain and fun brain separated. (Not that work can't be fun!) Noto is really pretty.

The big thing for me is the ability to grab my iPad and take handwritten notes during a meeting. And then mixing the notes and comments with tasks too. I know there's more under the hood that I could…

Full disclosure, I am a "shiny object" person and always want to try the new thing. I have also had a lifelong addiction to Moleskines. Flirted with Evernote, the Apple Notes app, and then found…

We ended up choosing Groove, and I like it so far. We didn't formally test Zoho Desk, but it feels like it might be "too much" for what we need.

I can't imagine why you'd intentionally limit to those, considering the hassle/time lag for wire transfers/ACH payments. We offer them as an option, but also offer all of the other methods.

Thanks! We've also evaluated HelpScout, Groove, and Freshdesk...so far it looks like Groove might win based on simplicity (while still having all of the needed features).

We used to use Zendesk, so I'm somewhat familiar, but wondering if anything cool has been launched in this space recently. Table stakes would be ability to assign tickets, add status, and have…

I have been playing around with Descript lately, and it's pretty breathtaking. Instantly pulled in my video, made a transcript, and then allowed me to magically remove my filler words and even replace…

Can I just toss another idea in the ring? (And perhaps it's more down-the-road as you outgrow a platform like Slack) An owned community using a service like our Crowdstack community, or another one…

Hey Capiche friends, nice to meet you! By day, I'm CMO of Crowdstack (a SaaS community platform)...by night I'm a chaser of shiny objects. I'm constantly pruning and shaping my own tech stack like a…

I definitely follow Product Hunt and BetaList. Haven't found the exact curated list that scratches my "need.shiny.object" itch.
